  • Blog Update: Long article about the beautiful Milford Track and a small one about the Southern Scenic Route.

  • Travel Update: We are back home in Europe! Unfortunetly we both got sick when coming back, so we will try to update the rest of the articles and videos as soon as possible…(07/04/11)

  • Travel Update: We visited Amritsar in Punjab with its Golden Temple and went to witness the border ceremony on the Pakistan-Indian border! We are now back in the moutains in Dharamsala where there is a major tibetan community. One week left before we need to catch our flight from Delhi to London on the 30th! (22/03/11)
  • Travel Update: After four weeks of Yoga classes in Rishikesh we are now ready to move on! We will leave tomorrow for Chopta to go trekking and see the Himalayas! We have just a little over 2 weeks before coming back to Europe!

  • After a wonderful time in Cambodia, we are back in Bangkok, ready to take our flight tomorrow for our final country: INDIA! (04/02/11)

  • We are back in Chiang Mai, unfortunetly we are a bit sick so we need to wait and see to go to Cambodia! (24/01/11)
  • Sorry for the lack of updates lately! I have recovered from the Dengue Fever and could enjoy the rest of time with Jeanne around Krabi and Khao Lak. As Lorenz left earlier for Northern Thailand, I decided to still drop by the islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. I’m now with Lorenz in Chang Mai and we are leaving tomorrow for the village of Pai.   • New articles: Ride to Macchu Pichu – Part 1 and Part 2, Lima
  • We left Bali after a wonderful time there, unfortunetly on Christmas day I woke up really sore and realised by the end of the day that it was not due to Yoga but Dengue Fever 😦 After a short stop in Phuket we are now in Krabi with Jeanne (Happy Birthday!!) My fever has dropped but I have still a major skin rash.(30/12/10)

  • After a trip to the nearby and relaxed Gili Islands, we are back in Ubud for Christmas! We will leave next Monday (27) for Phuket, Thaïland! (23/12/10)

  • We are now in Ubud, Bali where we intend to settle down for sometime and discover the island from here.(07/12/10)

  • We are in Singapour! It is really hot and humid and it is hard to adjust to this climate that we did not have since 4 months! We crossed the border to Malaysia yesterday in order to send home some excess luggage: 35kg for 53euros! But my 15 kg package to France was more expensive than Lorenz’ 20kg package to Germany!Tomorrow: Bali! (04/12/10)

  • We left New-Zealand and all its beautiful sceneries and bad internet connection behind! We are in Sydney until the 1st of December. Thanks to Dave and his parents for hosting us! Next destination will be ASIA with Singapore and Bali by the end of this week! Once there we hope we can finally update the blog!! (29/11/10)
  • We are in Te Anau, back from the Milford Track – the finest and the wettest walk in the world! Surprisingly the weather forecast was pretty wrong and we only had one day of  “drizzle”! We will soon make our way to Stewart Island.(15/11/10)
  • Update: Small article about our new daily life in La Paz; Updated travelling statistics!!
  • Now on the South Island and we have done our second Great Walk! (Tongariro Northern Circuit & Abel Tasman Costal Track). Current itinerary is updated. We are really lucky with the weather so far! (01/11/10)
  • We arrived in New-Zealand! The weather was terrible in Auckland but after one night in Wahi Beach everything got better 🙂 We are now in Rotorua, in the middle of the Northern island. Unfortunetly it does not look like NZ have a lot of free wifi spots and we are paying more than 4€ for an hour of connection… so there probably won’t be a lot of new posts or pictures…(22/10/10)
  • Update: Choro Trek, 3 days hiking on our own in Bolivia
  • We are in San Diego and we will leave tonight for Auckland New-Zealand! A 13-hour flight is ahead of us! (19/10/10)
  • Update: NZ itinerary, Arequipa, Lake Titicaca and La Paz.
  • We are now in San Francisco! Having great weather even though we had to change our plans earlier this week because it was already snowing in Yosemite! We have another 10 days in California before leaving to New-Zealand. (09/10/10)
  • Update: Itinerary USA, 2435 miles with the car already in two weeks!
  • So today we have been travelling for 6 months! We are in the middle of our Southwest roadtrip, near the Bryce Canyon. We have been mainly camping and it is really to get internet access outside of Mcdonald’s! So blog updates will have to wait for awhile…(29/09/10)
  • We are in Miami now, back to tropical weather! Tomorrow we fly to Arizona to start our Southwest roadtrip! (22/09/10)

  • We just got back from a 3-day trip with a motorbike to Machu Picchu! Tomorrow we will get ready for our last long distance bus ride in a long time to reach Lima! Our flight to Miami is on Tuesday! (18/09/10)
  • Final day in Bolivia, we are now heading back to Peru. Time for Cusco and Macchu Picchu! (12/09)

  • After a day in Sucre, we arrived in the highest city of the world, Potosi! We will visit the mines tomorrow and head even more South to Tupiza to catch a tour to Salar de Uyuni (the salt lake).(01/09/10)
  • We are back from the Condoriri trek where we camped at 4600m high altitude and climbed up till 5100m! Still in La Paz for a few days! New entry > Rioacha (29/08/10)
  • After Lake Titicaca and Isla del Sol, we spent 2 days in La Paz and went on 3-day trek called El Choro and we are getting ready to do a new one. Since the blocades are over in Potosi, we will then head South. (25/08/10)

  • We spent one week in Arequipa, including 3 days trekking in the Colca Canyon, the second deepest in the world! (the deepest is also in Peru). Now we are heading to Lake Titicaca! (15/08/10)
  • Finally first entry about Colombia: Cartagena
  • Updated page about the statistics and unfortunetly we need to re-do our itineraries on Google Maps, seems we are going to too many places for the application!
  • We are in Nasca (Peru) about to discover the mysterious Nasca lines…(08/08/10)

  • After a couple of days in Salento, a small village in the coffee region, we are now in Bogota! We will fly on the 06/08 to Lima in Peru.
  • New Article about San Blas Islands.
  • We arrived now in Medellin, the city of eternal spring and the former drug capital of Pablo Escobar, after an 22hour bus ride! (27/07)
  • New article on Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, Bocas del Toro, Panama and Panama City
  • We spent 5 days in the jungle, crossing rivers, walking under pouring rain and in the mudd, sleeping in hammocks, all of that to see Ciudad Perdida! We spent 2 days in Taganga and we are now in Rioacha, still on the northern coast of Colombia. We will spend some days to see the desert (!) and then head south. (22/07/10)
  • We are now in Cartagena de Indias, a truly beautiful town! Next stop in Santa Marta, still on the northern coast of Colombia (12/07).
  • We are about to leave Central America today (10/07)! We stayed longer than planned in Panama City because we had to wait for Lorenz’s package. Now we are ready to go! Next stop Cartagena in Colombia. Thanks again to Charles for hosting a whole week!
  • Two new articles about Isla Ometepe in Nicaragua and Monteverde in Costa Rica
  • We are in Panama City, surprising with its many skyscrapers! Also never saw so many construction works going on!
  • Three new articles about Nicaragua: León, Las Penitas and Granada.
  • New Article about our time in Honduras and diving courses in Utila
  • Last articles on Guatemala: one on Antigua and one on the natural disasters that occured end of May in the region.

  5. salut emilie c est sofiane et marianne,on c etait rencontre a la station de bus en rentrant de koh tao.
    Nous ca fait deja deux semaine qu on est rentre .On espere que tout se passe bien pour vous .ON a fait un tour sur le blog c est sympa.
    ON reviendra faire un tour sur le blog de temps en temps,on vous souhaite bonne continuation!!! a bientot
